I'm sick to death of seeing folders in groups saying 'Derpy and Dinky.'

For a start, I personally think Derpy is around the same age as the mane six, who are supposedly 16 to 20 years old, which is reasonably young for being a parent (In my opinion.)

Derpy and Dinky's colour scheme doesn't seem that similar to me..

There's no evidence that they're related in the show..

Look, I'm not going to go on and on about a cock-eyed cartoon pony, but I just made this stamp to show my views, and to see if anyone else agrees.
Also, I don't think Derpy is obsessed with muffins. There's more than one pony who said "Muffins" on a S1 episode in perfect sync...why not get over-excited about them too?

I think people consider Derpy as older because in the cutie chronicles episode Derpy is in the audience for Rarity's play, which makes their head canon make her older them.

well, I see you reasoning, BUT I just love the derpy and dinky thing, it reminds me of me and my mother that we are best friends not just mother and daughter. (also ([link]) if you think that ponys stood newt to each other is cannon then you should think derpy is dinkys mum also there couler scheme is not simaler...more simaler that carrot tops)

Colour scheme has no similarity in ponies, take this for instance [link] That's as similar as they get! XD

And Derpy has been barely seen with Dinky. Carrot top is a whole other matter.

I agree completely.

Of course, I do like seeing Derpy as maybe Dinky's older sister, but definitely not mother. I really hope that the idea of Derpy and Dinky being sisters rather than mother and daughter will start becoming more popular, because with the way this is going, it seems like at some point there's going to be another background shout-out to the bronies, Derpy and Dinky are standing next to eachother in the background in a mother's day episode.

*ahem* Aaaanyway...
