dA Logo

Hey everyone!

I guess I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon, but the new logo is absolutely awful.

To me, the colour is sickly and barely anything like the deviantGreen and it looks more like a distorted 'Z' or 'F' which are both letters not present in the name of the site. And everyone knows and recognises the original logo. There's no point in changing it...Why fix what isn't broken? If anything it should look like a 'D' and/or 'A'. But oh no, lets just completely change it and put a 'Z' with a line through it...that'll make us more mainstream and hipster. >.>

I believe dA is changing far too much and becoming further and further away from the wonderful site that I discovered 4 years ago. It's trying to become something it's not. 

What about all the deviantART merch i have, featuring the original logo? That's pretty meaningless now. I have two bags, multiple keyrings, lanyards, plushies and shirts that I use quite a lot. What now?

It's also starting to mimic Facebook and Twitter which really contradicts the fact they're trying to become more original...

If you asked someone what this new logo is, deviantART would be the last thing on their mind.
